While attending dental school, I knew that I would eventually return home to Hamlet to practice dentistry. Although I loved living in Eastern North Carolina (Go Pirates!), I knew that my ultimate goal was to return to Hamlet so that I could care for the community that allowed me to become who I am today.
Being a dentist allows me to practice a career that I love every single day; however, my desire is to be more than a general dentist in my community. To me, my ultimate calling is to care for my patients while fostering trust and life-long relationships. Although I am proud to have earned the title of Dr. Henry, I also want my patients to know Kennedi, too.
Some fun facts about me include:
Dr. Henry has been in private practice in Hamlet since 2022. She obtained her B.S degree in Chemistry from UNC-Pembroke, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After attending UNCP, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from East Carolina University in 2021. In order to provide the highest quality care to her patients, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, also at ECU, and completed the program with distinction.
Dr. Henry’s current professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Sandhills Dental Study Club, and the Pankey Affiliated Professional Growth Study Group.
